Surely!

I was at our balcony (really don't know if balcony is the right word) sitting and staring to nothingness when this came into my mind out of nowhere.

SURELY! The word is surely. Then I was just reminded how sure the word of God is. There is nothing more SURE than that. It is that word of certainty to what God said He would do.

I don't know if some of you would get the reason why I connected it to that song above but SURELY some of you will. :) 

How many of you know that when God said it, so it will be!

SURELY His word and His promise is as sure as the sun will rise.

It is as certain as the dawn appears...

Some of you needed to hear that...

God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? - Numbers 23:19

Let that sink in for a moment...

SURELY His promises are sure!

Here are some verses to encourage you; (emphasis added)

The LORD Almighty has sworn, "SURELY, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand. Isaiah 14:24

SURELY goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23:6

It is written: "'As SURELY as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.'" Romans 14:11

In that day they will say, "SURELY this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation." Isaiah 25:9

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And SURELY I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:20

Whatever it is that you are hoping for, as long as it is according to His word, 

SURELY it will be!
