God is our shepherd.

Psalm 23:1 - The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need.

The psalmist knew that God is his shepherd and that made all the difference in the world...

How about you? Do you feel that you are in lack? Is there something you think you really need? Are there some things you wanna do yet you feel inadequate?

The real question for you is this...

Is God your shepherd? Will you allow Him to be just that in your life?

Because if He is...

Knowing that He is your shepherd, everything follows after that...

The psalmist goes on to tell that if He is indeed your shepherd...

He makes you lie down in green pastures.
He leads you beside quiet waters.
He refreshes your soul.
He guides you along the right paths for HIS name’s sake.
Even though you walk through the darkest valley,
You will fear no evil, for He is with you.
His rod and His staff, they comfort you.
He prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies.
He anoint your head with oil; your cup overflows.
Surely His goodness and love will follow you all the days of your life,
and you will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

(All from Psalm 23, changed the me with a you)

That one verse in Psalm 23:1 made all the difference in David's life.
So it is with your life...

The next time you'll feel that you are in lack, He wants to remind you that He is your shepherd in times of your needs and even during those times that you feel and think that you don't need Him, still He is and will always be your shepherd.

That is the reason why you shall not want anything and anybody else to complete and fill you with the things this world wants to offer...

A shepherd cares for his sheep.
He knows their every need.
He guides his flock.
He is there for them.
He would die for them if he has to.
That's all they need...

When God is our shepherd, that is all we need...
